The rooms were air-conditioned and reasonably large with a balcony. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. Everything seemed nice and immaculately clean. The staff at the reception desk were attentive and friendly.

It is located in a very well communicated area, near two train stations that connect perfectly with both airports and with the nearby underground. It is not far from the center, in less than half an hour walking you are in Notre Dame and in 15 minutes by subway . I have seen in some comments that the area is not very safe, it is true that there are many homeless people in the area but it is not at all unsafe or at least I never had the feeling. Very close by (5 minutes away) is the St. Martin Channel with lots of nightlife and entertainment venues.

The room was very small, but I understand that it is in line with the price (which was lower than other hotels in the area). If your intention is little more than to sleep, I don't think it's necessary anymore. However, the shower was narrow, I don't think that a person who is very big can enter. The breakfast was very repetitive, always apple as the only fruit. If you have problems with gluten you will have no choice but to stay on cheese, yogurt and ham for the whole time you are here.

Close to Gare del Est, so there are many means of transport nearby, mainly the metro line 4 which takes you directly to the city. metro is 1 block away. Friendly staff. I saw some comments indicating that it is an ugly area, I didn't feel it that way, because it is so close to the metro that you don't have to walk very far to be inside the hotel or the metro, there are shops open along the way.

There is a lot of street noise, at least on level 1 that cannot be ignored, even with the window closed you can still hear it. The room is very small (and in general the hotel: elevator corridors, bathroom etc), which makes it difficult to manoeuvre with the suitcases. But it gives a charm to the place. You are asked to return the room key every time you leave the hotel, which makes me think that it is not a good area (although I repeat, I did not perceive it as such). Very expensive for what it is, but unfortunately Paris is very expensive, and comparing it with other hotels in the area (with similar prices), it takes them away

Its continental breakfast is a must, with a great selection of lovely meals. Welcoming staff members are on the reception desk. Incredible and excellent location, a metro station is close to the hotel...

Location of the hotel was excellent and hotel staff was very friendly and they spoke very good english. Hotel is next to busy street but we stayed in 4th floor so didn't hear any noise. We arrived to Gare du Nord and hotel is indeed 5minutes walk away from the station. Next to this you have Gare du L'est close by too. I would come here again if I come Paris again. Hotel rooms were also very neat.

The friendly staff, clean sheets, double bed for a single. The nice weather and the U2-concert at Stade de France.

Only one toilet for both men and women in the cellar.

The location is really good. Staff was friendly. Good place for a couple of nights and business.

Thbreakfast was poor. It was only a small room with bread, marmelade and they served you tea or coffe. Not much things to have. Bathroom was small and no real shower, only a hose attached to the bath tube.

The staff at the reception desk are proactive and helpful. The rooms are spacious and air-conditioned. They serve one of the best continental breakfasts with croissants, cheese, and plenty of bread. The hotel is conveniently located very close to train stations.

The venue was set in the central position really close to the Gare du Nord and the Gare de l'Est and Close to the train station and Nord railway stations. It also was very close to the metro which is very convenient.

The area was not that good.

The staff was easy-going and sincere at all levels. the food was nice. - the location was excellent. - the breakfast was classic and located within 300 meters from Gare de l'est tube station was a plus. I had a lovely one-night stay in Paris at Hotel Alane. the staff was friendly and genuine at every interaction. the food was enjoyable, and the hotel's location was fantastic. the classic breakfast was a great touch and being situated just 300 meters from Gare de l'est tube station was very convenient.

Location. Close to two train stations and two Paris Metro lines. Best mattresses I've ever had the pleasure of using at a budget hotel.
